PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College women's ice hockey team will face #7 Boston University in a home-and-home series this weekend, welcoming the Terriers to Schneider Arena Saturday night at 7 p.m. and visiting Walter Brown Arena Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
Saturday's game will be broadcast on Cox Sports Television (Rhode Island and parts of Connecticut.) and streamed live on the internet on the Cox Sports website: coxsportsonline.com. To watch the live stream, go to www.coxsportsonline.com and look for the LIVE STREAMING button at the top of the screen and follow directions for subscription. Cox will offer this women's hockey game ONLY as a free viewing event. Mike Logan, Bob Bellemore and former Friar Sonny Watrous will be the broadcast team. This is the first of two PC women's hockey games that will air on Cox sports. The second will be January 28, 2012 when UConn visits Schneider Arena at 2 p.m.
Sunday's game at BU is scheduled to have an audio play-by-play broadcast on Friars.com.
