Providence Men's Swimming & Diving Cancels Meet Against Villanova

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

Providence College swimming and diving Head Coach John O’Neill announced last night that the men’s swimming and diving team will not compete against Villanova on Saturday, January 22 as originally planned. The meet was cancelled due to the inclement weather’s effect on Villanova’s travel.

The Friars are back in action, weather permitting, on Saturday, January 29 when both the men’s and women’s teams host Holy Cross for their final home meet of the season. The diving portion of the meet will begin at 11:00 a.m. while the swimming competition will start at 1:00 p.m.
