Providence Tennis Swept By Cincinnati

The Providence College tennis team hosted the University of Cincinnati on Thursday, March 26 in Providence, R.I. The Friars dropped their second straight match, being swept by the Bearcats, 7-0.
Senior Ashley Rissolo (Southport, Conn.) played strong for PC, falling in the No. 2 singles position, 6-4, 6-1, to Cincinnati's Jennifer Rowen. She then teamed up with freshman Melanie Albert (Sanibel, Fla.) in the Friars' closest doubles match of the day, an 8-3 defeat in the No. 2 spot.
The Friars return to action on Saturday, March 28 when they host Seton Hall in Providence, R.I. The match was originally set for an 11:00 a.m. start but has been moved up to 10:00 a.m. due to concerns over rain in the afternoon.
