Providence Tennis Drops Third Straight

The Providence College tennis team hosted Seton Hall on Saturday, March 28. In their third straight BIG EAST matchup, the Friars were swept, 7-0, by the Pirates. Senior Ashley Rissolo (Southport, Conn.) played strong for the Friars, dropping in the No. 2 singles position, 6-1, 7-5. She then teamed with freshman Melanie Albert (Sanibel, Fla.) in the No. 2 doubles spot, falling 8-3. Sophomore Ayushi Sinha (Mumbai, India) and senior Meghan Gilroy (Fairfield, Conn.) also kept it close in doubles, falling in the No. 1 spot, 8-5.
