Providence Tennis Swept at Syracuse

The Providence College tennis team traveled to Syracuse, N.Y. on Sunday, March 22 to take on Syracuse University. In their first match in over a month, the Friars were swept by the Orange, 7-0.
Syracuse was in control the entire day, as the two closest matches were the No. 7 defeat of senior Amy McDevitt (East Greenwich, R.I.) by a score of 8-5, and the 8-4 defeat of sophomore Courtney Fuller (Newtown, Conn.) in the No. 8 singles position.
Providence returns to action on Thursday, March 26 when they host Cincinnati at 3:30 p.m.
