The scoring continued for the Friars in the second period as sophomore Mari Pehkonen (Tampere, Finland) tipped in a Sonny Watrous (Albuquerque, N.M.) pass that she had previously dropped to Watrous for a goal at 13:14. Katy Beach was able to corral a deflected Watrous shot and shoot it into the net for the Friars' fourth goal at 6:26 of the third. Watrous and Feldman each recorded their second assists of the game on the goal.
