Men's Lacrosse Lands Another Recruit

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College lacrosse coach Chris Burdick announced on Monday, January 26, 2004 that Robert John Lamontagne (Pittsford, N.Y.), has committed to attend Providence College, beginning in 2004-2005.

Lamontagne is currently playing for Pittsford-Mendon High School in Rochester, N.Y. He has tallied 84 points (59 goals, 25 assists) and collected 307 ground balls in 49 career games. Lamontagne has been named Offensive Player of the Game 18 times and has received All-County honors three-straight years. He also was named Team MVP after his sophomore and junior seasons.
