The Providence College men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback against Boston College on Tuesday, April 2 in Providence, R.I.
The Eagles won all their singles matches in straight sets led by sophomore Justin Slattery (Andover, Mass.) who defeated the Friars' Matt Jarvis, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. Providence dropped to 5-7 overall and 2-7 in the spring season, while Boston College improved to 9-7 overall.
The Friars return to action on Sunday, April 7, as they host New Hampshire at noon.
