Friars Diamond 75th Anniversary Party

This year Providence College salutes 75 years of Friar Basketball. Come and celebrate this milestone in Friar history by joining the team, former players, and loyal Friar supporters for the Diamond 75th Anniversary Party on February 2, 2002, after the PC vs. BC game. The evening's events will start off with a unique post-game party and pre-dinner reception starting at 5:00 p.m. Included will be contests, memorabilia for sale, cash bar, snacks, and the Premiere of the new book "P.C.'s Legendary Jimmy Walker and Ernie DiGregorio" with a book signing and autograph session. Following the pre-dinner reception, at 7:00 p.m., is the full course dinner and special program during and after the dinner. The program includes the premiere showing of the Diamond Anniversary Friar Basketball video, remarks by Friars representing each decade and a commemorative pin for all dinner participants.
