HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth College defeated Providence College, 3-0, in men's soccer action on Wednesday, September 19 at Hanover, N.H.
Dartmouth took a 1-0 at 41:08 when junior Juan Romera (Eden Prairie, Minn.) slid a shot past PC senior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Manchester, England). The Big Green got insurance goals from sophomore Rob Daly (Port Richey, Fla.) at 48:57 and sophomore Seth Eaton (Monrovia, Calif.) at 62:24 to seal the win.
Dartmouth senior goalkeeper Ben Gebre-Medhin (Cambridge, Mass.) registered four saves in the win. Glynn recorded four stops for the Friars.
With the victory, Dartmouth raised its record to 2-0 overall, while Providence fell to 0-4.
Providence College returns to action on Saturday, September 22 against Syracuse at noon at Syracuse, N.Y.
