Men's Soccer Defeated By Harvard, 3-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Harvard defeated Providence College, 3-0, in men's soccer action at Providence, R.I., on Tuesday, October 2.

The Crimson took a 1-0 lead at 18:02 on a goal by senior Nick Lenicheck (Somerville, Mass.). Harvard added two more tallies in the second half by sophomore Kevin Ara (Upland, Calif.) at 49:04 and junior Colin Eyre (Cleveland Heights, Ohio) at 83:53 to seal the win.

Harvard goalkeeper Conrad Jones (Seattle, Wash.) made three saves in the shutout. Friar senior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Dublin, Ireland) recorded four stops in the loss.

With the win, Harvard improved to 5-2 overall, while Providence fell to 0-7-1.

Providence College returns to action on Tuesday, October 9 against Brown at PC's Glay Field at 3:00 p.m.
