Providence, R.I. -- It was announced on March 17, that Providence College junior Sara DeCosta (Warwick, R.I.) was an ECAC second team All-Star selection.
The Friar goaltender led the nation with a .946 save percentage, while recording a 1.50 goals against average and 17-10-3 record. DeCosta was also named Heaton/ECAC goaltender of the week a league leading five times.
DeCosta is a Toll Gate High graduate and is the daughter of Frank and Nancy DeCosta.
Junior forward Jessica Tabb (Holland, Mass.) received honorable mention ECAC All-Star. Tabb led the Friars in scoring, registering 26 goals and 15 assists in 33 games.
Tabb is a Tabor Academy graduate and is the daughter of Gerald and Martha Tabb.
