The Friars enter Wednesday's game with a 5-10-1 record overall and a 0-5-0 mark in BIG EAST Northeast Division action. In its last outing, Providence was defeated, 2-0, by crosstown rival Brown University on Wednesday, October 18. Providence is led on offense by junior forward Caitlyn Welsh (Winter Springs, Fla.). For the season, Welsh as tallied eight goals and two assists. In goal, freshman goalkeeper Caroline Haines (Stillwater, Minn.) has seen every minute of action for the Friars. Haines has recorded a 1.55 goals against average along with a .821 save percentage on her way to recording five shutouts on the season.
