NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Janell Burse had 30 points, 17 rebounds and five blocked shots Monday night to lead No. 24 Tulane to its ninth straight victory, 81-57 over Providence.

Burse was 12-of-18 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line for the Lady Green Wave.

Tulane led 37-27 at halftime and held a 54-39 rebounding advantage over Providence (3-4).

Burse's performance overshadowed Providence center Monika Roberts, who scored 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting and had a team-high 7 rebounds.

Grace Daley had 19 points and Fabrecia Roberson added 11 for Tulane.
