DURHAM, N.H. -- Providence College and the University of New Hampshire played to a 0-0 tie in women's college soccer action at Durham, N.H. on Wednesday, October 27. For the Friars it marked the team's first scoreless draw since 1993.
The UNH Wildcats outshot the Friars, 20-7, but were unable to get the ball past Friar senior netminder Shayna Ross. Ross registered 10 stops in the shutout. UNH goalkeeper Stephanie Springer made four saves.
With the tie, the Friars record moved to 6-9-1 overall, while New Hampshire is now 6-10-2.
Providence College returns to action on Saturday, October 30 against Seton Hall at 1:00 p.m. at PC's Glay Field.
