Men’s Soccer Readies For Home Game Against Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's soccer team (2-2-0) will face Harvard University (0-1-0) on Friday, Sept. 5 at 7:00 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Rhode Island, 3-1

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Providence College men's soccer team earned a 3-1 victory over the University of Rhode Island on Monday, Sept. 1 at the URI Soccer Complex in Kingston, R.I. The Friars improved to 2-2 on the season, while the Rams fell to 0-2-1. Angelo Ventrella (Toronto, Canada) scored his first career goal for the Friars. Ian Abbey (Elmer, N.J.)  and Bruno Rosa (Cascais, Portugal) also added their first goals of the season. Senior Sam Montalto (Stonington, Conn.) notched two assists.

Friars Set For In-State Showdown At Rhode Island

KINGSTON, R.I.- The Providence College men's soccer team (1-2-0) will face in-state rival University of Rhode Island (0-1-1) on Monday, Sept.1 at the URI Soccer Complex. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.

Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Boston College, 2-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's soccer team defeated the Boston College Eagles, 2-0, in a BIG EAST / ACC matchup on Aug. 29 on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The Friars improved to 1-2-0 to start the season. Seniors Cameron Yriondo (Sammamish, Wash.) scored his first goal of the season and Caden Stafford (Cincinnatus, N.Y.) added a late insurance goal to give the Friars their first win of the 2025 season. Redshirt freshman Ryan Carney (Dunstable, Mass.) earned the clean sheet in net, making one save.
