Lisa Vieira has served as the Administrative Assistant to Women’s Basketball since August of 2011. Â
Vieira has numerous duties within the program, including serving as the program liaison to many other offices at Providence College. Â
Vieira started at Providence College Athletics in 2007 as Senior Office Assistant before being promoted to her current position. Prior to Providence College, she spent 20 years as a paralegal and office manager at a law firm in East Greenwich, R.I. Â
Vieira was appointed by Fr. Sicard to serve on the Tuition Exchange Committee and is a member of the Ambassador for PC Wellness Committee, sponsored by Human Resources. She has served on many other campus committees, including the Torchbearer Award Committee and Faculty/Staff Giving Committee. Â
In 1988 Vieira graduated as Valedictorian from the School of Medical and Legal Sciences, formerly located on the East Side of Providence, R.I. where she obtained a paralegal certification. Â
Vieira is originally from Providence, Rhode Island. She has two children, Marina and Keith. Â
