Kevin Salisbury has been a longtime assistant coach with the Providence College swimming & diving programs, having joined the staff in 2002. He has a wealth of experience at the collegiate level, having served as head swimming and diving coach at Clark University (1990-99) and an assistant coach at Brown University (1988-90). Salisbury holds Level III Coach Certification with the American Swimming Coaches Association.
In addition to his duties with the Friars, Salisbury is an assistant professor of psychology at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI). He also served as Athletics Director at CCRI, a position he retired from in 2023. In April of 2023, Salisbury was one of four Community/Junior College athletic directors in the country to be awarded the NACDA/NATYCAA Athletic Director of the Year honors.
Salisbury is a 1986 graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a 1993 inductee in the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame.
Salisbury and his wife, Lisa reside in Rhode Island and have three daughters, Kaitlyn, Jessica and Rachel.
