John Egan began his career as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Development at Providence College in June 2026 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Providence College.
Egan works in Athletic Development, where he assists with donor relations, alumni engagement and special events that enhance the student-athlete experience across Providence College’s athletic programs. He supports annual giving campaigns, stewardship initiatives, hospitality events and other strategic fundraising efforts.
Prior to joining Providence College, Egan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. While at Seton Hall, he worked with the Coca-Cola Bowl Season and Olympique de Marseille Football Club. He also served as a manager for the Seton Hall men’s basketball team, was president of the Seton Hall Marketing Club and a member of the Seton Hall Finance and Marketing Honor Societies.
Egan, a former multiple-time National Spanish Exam medalist, Massachusetts Sun Chronicle Track All-Star and varsity basketball player, is originally from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, where he currently resides.
