Ian Michaud began his second season as the athletics equipment manager in January of 2023. Â
He is responsible for supporting the teams in any apparel and equipment ordering inventorying, packing, and cleaning. Â
Prior to Providence College, Michaud worked for the New England Revolution II as an equipment manager (2020-23). While he was with the Revs, they won a MLS regular season title. He also worked in team operations and sports information both in his undergrad and graduate years at the University of South Carolina. Â
Michaud graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in sports management. He also attended Columbia University and earned a master's degree in sports management in 2019. While at the University of South Carolina, Michaud was a member of the women’s basketball practice team and received an NCAA Championship Ring. Â
Michaud is originally from Milford, N.H. Â
