Anderson Nance joined Providence College as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in December of 2016. Â
In his current role, Nance is the head strength and conditioning coach for men’s ice hockey and lacrosse and assists all athletes that lift in the Schneider Arena weight room. Â
Before his career with the Friars, Nance worked for Brown University in the fall of 2016. Nance has interned for multiple programs, including Holy Cross (2015-16) and the Cleveland Browns (2015). He also worked full time for Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning in Woburn (2014). Â
Nance attended the University of Rhode Island where he was a member of the football team. He graduated from URI with a Bachelor’s Degree in kinesiology in 2011. Nance is on track to earn his Master of Education degree at Providence College in 2023. Â
