Nick Bass has served as the graduate assistant for strength and conditioning since August of 2022.
In his current position with the Friars, Bass is directly responsible for the design and implementation of programming for women’s tennis and cheerleading. He assists with the implementation of programming for women’s basketball, volleyball, field hockey, men’s soccer, and men’s hockey.
Leading up to his time at PC, Bass served as an intern at the University of Illinois for strength and conditioning in the Summer of 2022. He assisted with the implementation of programming for volleyball, baseball, women’s dive, and men’s gymnastics.
Prior to PC and the University of Illinois, Bass attended graduate school at Ball State where he served as a graduate assistant for the Healthy Lifestyle Center, specifically working with clients’ exercise psychology (2020-22). While at Ball State, he interned in the Fall of 2020 with the strength and conditioning department, assisting with men’s and women’s dive, and he served as a sport psychology consultant for women’s soccer (2020-22)
Bass graduated form Ball State in 2022 with a Masters of Science in sports and exercise psychology and a Master's Degree in sports performance. He attended Hanover College as an undergrad where he played football and graduated with a Bachelors of Degree in psychology and sociology.
