Providence College has announced the hiring of Orsi Golovics as head coach for the Providence College women's tennis program on Monday, October 4. Golovics currently serves as a tennis pro at Tennis RI – West Bay Racquet Club in Warwick, R.I.
 
Golovics has extensive collegiate tennis experience, serving as assistant coach for two stints with the Northern Arizona University women's tennis program in 2012 and again from 2016-17. With the Lumberjacks, she coordinated practice and conditioning sessions, assisted with recruiting, academic development of student-athletes and team administrative duties. Golovics also was a standout student-athlete at Northern Arizona, earning First Team All-Big Sky accolades in three seasons, while ranking 35th nationally in doubles play and 19th regionally in singles in 2010.
 
Golovics also served as an assistant coach with Cardinal Stritch University men's and women's tennis programs from 2013-15. While at Cardinal Stritch, she managed all aspects of tennis competitions, including travel arrangements, meals and managing of budgets. Golovics also oversaw and coordinated recruiting visits, as well as the programs' annual fundraising event. Under her guidance, Cardinal Stritch appeared in the national championship and were ranked in the top-10 in the NAIA during the program's first two seasons of existence.
 
Earning bachelor's of science degrees in business administration and marketing from Northern Arizona in 2012, Golovics also earned her master's of science degree in sport management from Cardinal Stritch University in 2015. The native of Szentendre, Hungary currently resides in Richmond, R.I.
