Before Providence: A native of Alabama, Burgess trained full-time for a year and a half at Saviano High Performance Tennis in South Florida ... While playing junior tournament tennis, she competed in the Orange Bowl qualifier twice, the National Hard Courts and National Clay Courts in the 16s and 18s ... Ranked second in the 18s division in Alabama ... Daughter of Greg and Teri Burgess and has one brother, Will ... Will be part of the Honors program at Providence.
