Kayla Cullerton began her role as assistant athletic trainer for men's soccer, and women's swimming and diving within the Friar Sports Medicine department in January of 2025. Cullerton had previously been involved with PC athletics as a graduate assistant from 2016-18 where she was an athletic trainer for women's soccer, softball, volleyball and men's and women's swimming and diving. After earning her master's degree in education (counseling with a specialty in mental health), she went on to be an assistant athletic training intern for the Bryant football team. She then became an associate athletic trainer at Becker College until March of 2020. She was named the director of sports medicine at Becker College and also was an associate athletic trainer for an indoor football league in Massachusetts. Before returning to PC, she was the head football athletic trainer at Stonehill College.
Cullerton graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in science and health exercises with a double minor in sports nutrition and coaching.
