2017-18: Alternate captain … appeared in all 40 games … posted four goals and a team-high 21 assists … his +16 rating ranked fifth overall in Hockey East … registered eight multi-point games: Miami (10/7), St. Lawrence (10/20), Massachusetts (11/11), Merrimack (11/18), New Hampshire (12/1), Arizona State (12/29), UConn (1/18), Vermont (2/3) … recorded first career two-goal game at Vermont (2/3) … also scored at Merrimack (11/18) and against Maine (2/9) … assisted on seven game-winning goals … Providence was 15-1-1 when he registered a point … named a CCM/AHCA Second Team All-American (4/6) … All-New England All-Star (3/28) … First Team Hockey East All-Star and Len Ceglarski Sportsmanship Award (3/15) … Hockey East All-Tournament Team (3/17) … Michael Boback Award for most assists on the team (5/3) … Ron Wilson Award as the team’s best defenseman (5/3).




 

2016-17 Honors and Awards

2016-17: Appeared in all 39 games … ranked third among all Hockey East rookie defenseman in scoring with three goals and 17 assists for 20 points … scored goals against St. Lawrence (10/22), Northeastern (11/19), and the game-winner at RIT (12/9) … recorded three multi-point games: Northeastern (11/18, 11/19) and Maine (2/4) … had point streaks of six and four games … posted 50 shots on goal … his 17 assists were good for sixth in the NCAA among rookie defensemen.

BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Led all Omaha Lancer defensemen in scoring with three goals and 28 assists in 56 games while amassing 36 penalty minutes ... selected to play in the 2016 USHL Top Prospects Game ... was a 2015-16 USHL All-Rookie First Team selection ...  prior to Omaha, Bryson played with The Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, Conn.) and the Neponset Valley River Rats (Canton, Mass.) in 2014-15, totaling eight goals and 19 assists in 41 games with the two squads.
