Providence College Lands 286 Student-Athletes On 2025-26 BIG EAST All-Academic Team

The Friars finished with the third-most selections among BIG EAST members.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference released its 2025-26 BIG EAST All-Academic Team selections on Tuesday, August 4. The Friars featured 286 honorees on the All-Academic Team, the third-most among BIG EAST members. More than 3,000 student-athletes overall were recognized, spanning the BIG EAST's 11 member schools and six affiliate institutions.
Nominations for the All-Academic Team are submitted by each of the BIG EAST's 11 member schools and six affiliate institutions. To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in a BIG EAST-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters of academic work, with a total of 18 semester or 27 quarter credits, not including remedial courses.
