PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey has added
Everett Baldwin (Providence, R.I.) to the roster for the 2026-27 season. Baldwin was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the fifth round (151
st overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft before playing the 2025-26 season with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.
The 6-foot, 183-pound pound defenseman led all Sea Dogs defensemen in scoring with 44 points on 15 goals and 29 assists in 62 games played and ranked second among all QMJHL rookie defensemen in points. He set the Saint John franchise record in goals by a rookie defenseman with 15 strikes. Baldwin signed an Amateur Try-Out at the end of the season with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL but did not appear in any games.
Prior to Saint John, Baldwin played three seasons at St. George's School (R.I.) from 2022-25 with appearances U.S. NTDP U18 squad and the Cedar Rapids Roughriders (USHL) during the 2024-25 season. He participated in Development Camp and Training Camp with the Lightning in 2025, appearing in one preseason game.
