Providence College Hosts Annual Late Night Madness Festivities At The AMP

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -The 2025-26 Providence College Late Night Madness celebration returned to the Amica Mutual Pavilion on Saturday, October 4.

Over 10,000 students, alumni and families gathered at the AMP to enjoy energetic performances from the PC dance and cheer teams, as well as student dance groups, followed by the introductions of the men's and women's basketball teams. After the dance routines, the women's basketball team took the stage. After the women's team was introduced, the men's squad made an energetic entranced and welcomed the Friar fans to the 2025-26 season. The night concluded with an entertaining performance by national recording artist Carrie Underwood.

On Sunday, Oct. 19, the PC men's basketball team will take on Pitt in an exhibition game in Pittsburgh with tip-off scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The Friars will also host Harvard in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the AMP. The women's basketball team will face Franklin Pierce in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall, in Providence, R.I.

The men's team will officially kick off the 2024-25 season on Monday, Nov. 3 when the Friars host Holy Cross at 7:15 p.m. at the AMP, with the game being streamed on ESPN+. The women's team will open its season the following night, Tuesday, Nov. 4, when the squad hosts Howard in Alumni Hall at 7:00 p.m. That game will be streamed on ESPN+.
