Men’s Basketball Announces 2025-26 Schedule With Times And Television Broadcast Assignments

Friars games will be seen on FOX, FS1, TNT, truTV, Peacock and ESPN+.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's basketball 2025-26 schedule was announced today (Oct. 1) with times and broadcast assignments. The Friar games will air nationally this season on FOX, FS1, TNT, truTV, ESPN+ and Peacock. It will mark the first time ever the Friars will have regular-season games televised on TNT and TruTV.
The Friars will play 11 non-conference games to open the 2025-26 season. Providence will begin the season at the Amica Mutual Pavilion against Holy Cross on Monday, Nov. 3 at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN+. PC's other non-conference home games will be against Penn on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+, New Hampshire on Tues, Nov. 18 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+, Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+, Rhode Island on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12:00 p.m. on truTV, and Brown on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m. on truTV.
The team's lone road game during the non-conference season will be at the University of Colorado on Friday, Nov. 14 (time and TV is TBA).
In the team's first neutral site contests of the season, the Friars will play Virginia Tech in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 4:00 p.m. on Peacock. The Friars' second neutral site game will also be at Mohegan Sun as they will play in the Hall of Fame Showcase versus Penn State on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4:00 p.m. on truTV.
Providence will play two games in the Rady's Children Invitational scheduled for Nov. 27-28 in San Diego, Calif. The Friars will open the tournament versus Wisconsin on Thursday, Nov. 27 at 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1. The Friars will face TCU or Florida in the second game on Friday, Nov. 28 at 3:00/5:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Friars will play their BIG EAST home opener versus Seton Hall on Friday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. on FS1. Providence's other BIG EAST home matchups will be versus UConn on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m. on Peacock, Villanova on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 6:30 p.m. on FS1, Creighton on Friday, Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. on FS1, Georgetown on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 12:30 p.m. on TNT and truTV, Butler on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 7:00 p.m. on Peacock, DePaul on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4:00 p.m. on FS1, St. John's on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 1:00 p.m. on TNT and truTV, Xavier on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. on TNT and truTV, and Marquette on Wednesday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. on Peacock.
