Women's Tennis Defeated By St. John's At The 2024 Big East Tennis Championships

CAYCE, S.C. - The Providence College women's tennis team was defeated by St. John's, 4-1, at the 2024 BIG EAST Tennis Championships in Cayce, S.C. on Thursday (April 18). The Friars conclude their spring season at 5-14 overall. 

The Red Storm took an early 1-0 lead by winning the opening doubles matches. St. John's earned victories out of the No. 1,4,5 slots to clinch the match. Elisa Davalos earned a win via forfeit to account for Providence's point in the match.
