Women's Tennis Blanked By Emporia State, 7-0

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Providence College women's tennis team was blanked by Emporia State, 7-0, in Orlando, Fla. on Wednesday, March 13.

The Hornets swept all singles matches on the day and claimed the doubles point by winning two of three matches. The duo of Liria Loria and Vannelie Melendez earned a 6-3 victory out of the No. 1 doubles slot to earn Providence's lone victory of the day.

The Friars return to action on Saturday, March 23 with a BIG EAST contest against Seton Hall at TRI West Bay in Warwick, R.I.
