Will Elger Named Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie Of The Week

Elger recorded the first two goals of his career last weekend at Vermont.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College freshman forward Will Elger (Westerville, Ohio) was named Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday, October 28.
Elger registered a goal in each of Providence's games at Vermont last weekend as he finished the weekend with two goals, four shots on goal and a +2 rating over two games. In four appearances this season, Elger has totaled two goals and one assist with a +3 rating.
The No. 12 Friars will battle New Hampshire in a home-and-home series beginning on Friday (Nov. 1) at Schneider Arena. Both games against the Wildcats can be seen live on NESN, ESPN+ and heard live on 790 The Score.
