Brigham will serve as a graduate assistant for the program.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College women's basketball Head Coach Erin Batth announced today [July 10] that Charlie Brigham has joined her staff as a graduate assistant.
Prior to his arrival at Providence, Brigham attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in film, television and media and graduated in May 2023. While at Michigan, he served as a scout team player for the Wolverines women's basketball program for four seasons (2019-23). Batth was an assistant coach with the Wolverines during Brigham's final season with the team.
At Providence, Brigham will assist with workouts and practices, game day preparation, team travel and video support for opponent scouting. He also will oversee the managers and scout team in addition to helping the staff during official and unofficial recruiting visits.
"I am extremely excited to have Charlie join our staff," Batth said. "During the time we spent together at Michigan, he displayed a serious commitment to the women's basketball team, despite a rigorous academic schedule. Charlie is dependable and professional and has great energy. He wants to be a college coach and I look forward to mentoring him as he continues to gain experience in the field."
Brigham is a native of Gasport, N.Y. and will be pursuing a Master's in higher education.
