TRUMBULL, Conn. - The Providence College women's tennis team was downed by Sacred Heart University, 6-1, on Friday, March 24 at the Tennis Club of Trumbull.

The Pioneers claimed the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead. Julia Migliorini scored the lone Friars win on the day, earning a straight-set victory out of the No. 3 slot. Sacred Heart earned victories in five of the six singles matches to claim the 6-1 win. 

Providence returns to action on Thursday, March 30 against Bentley University. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Centre Court in East Providence, R.I.
