Max Crozier Signs Entry-Level Contract With The Tampa Bay Lightning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College senior co-captain Max Crozier (Calgary, Alta.) has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning that will begin in the 2023-24 season as announced by Lightning General Manager Julien BriseBois on Tuesday (March 21). Crozier will join Syracuse (AHL) on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
Crozier posted a career-high 24 points on three goals and 21 assists with a +10 rating during his fourth season at Providence in 2022-23. The senior also led the team with 61 blocked shots, totaling 135 in his career. Crozier was also a two-time Hockey East Defender of the Week selection and back-to-back Hockey East Third Team All-Star honoree.
Originally a fourth round selection by the Lightning (120th overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft, Crozier appeared in 119 games at Providence, totaling 17 goals and 54 assists for 71 points with a +35 rating. As a junior in 2021-22, Crozier served as an alternate captain and registered a career-high seven goals.
