PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Freshman
Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) of the Providence College women's hockey team was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced on Monday, Nov. 27.
Knapp scored the lone goal on Saturday, Nov. 25 to help the Friars beat Brown University, 1-0. Knapp leads the Friars with seven points (five goals and two assists).
Knapp was last named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 23 for recording three points across two games in a weekend series against Maine. On Friday, Oct. 20, Knapp scored two goals within two minutes. On Saturday, Oct. 21, she scored the first goal of the night seven minutes into the first period.
The Friars return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 28 against the Northeastern Huskies in Boston, Mass. at 5:00 p.m.
