Luke Krys Named Hockey East Defender Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey's Luke Krys (Ridgefield, Conn.) was named Army ROTC Hockey East Defender of the Week as announced by Hockey East on Monday (Oct. 9).
Krys, a graduate transfer from Brown, helped anchor a strong defensive effort in the Friars' 4-2 victory on the road at No. 5/4 Michigan on Saturday and boosted the offensive attack with two assists. For the weekend, he finished with two shots on goal and three blocked shots.
The Friars will host Stonehill College for the home-opener at Schneider Arena on Friday (Oct. 13) at 7 p.m.
