NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Providence College men's and women's swimming & diving programs competed at Iona in dual-meet action on Saturday, Oct.28 in New Rochelle, N.Y. The men's team was defeated 170-117, while the women's team dropped a 180-107 decision.
Will Layden was a multi-event winner, taking first in the 50-yard freestyle (20.99) and 100-yard freestyle (46.79). On the women's side, a pair of freshmen took first-place finishes to highlight the day. A list of event winners at the meet are below.
