Women's Tennis Falls To Georgetown At BIG EAST Championships

CAYCE, S.C. - The Providence College women's tennis team concluded its 2022 season at the BIG EAST Championships in Cayce, S.C. on Thursday (April 21). The 11th-seeded Friars dropped a 4-0 decision to sixth-seeded Georgetown.
The Hoyas raced out to an early lead by claiming the doubles point and earned straight-set victories from the the No. 6, No. 1 and No. 5 slots to clinch the match. Julia Migliorini was ahead in her match before the Hoyas earned their fourth and decisive point of the match.
The Friars finish the dual match season at 5-12 overall.
