EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's tennis team improved to 2-2 in dual match play this season after a 5-2 win over Merrimack on Friday (March 4) at Centre Court in East Providence, R.I.
Despite the Warriors claiming the doubles point, Providence claimed five-of-six singles matches to capture the victory.
Olivia Wright,
Julia Migliorini,
Katie Mulvey,
Lauren Carson and
Morgan Warner all won their singles matches. Wright and Migliorini earned straight-set wins out of the No. 1 and No. 2 slots, respectively.
The Friars are back in action on Monday (March 7) in Orlando, Fla. against Creighton.
