Women's Tennis Opens Spring Season With A 4-3 Win Over Colgate

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's tennis team opened the 2021-22 dual match season with a 4-3 win over Colgate on Saturday (Feb. 12) at Centre Court Tennis Club in East Providence, R.I.
Providence earned the doubles point thanks to victories by the duos of Julia Migliorini/Olivia Wright (6-4) and Katie Mulvey/Emmie Lindholm (7-5). Migliorini also earned a victory out of the No. 2 singles slot, earning a straight-sets win over her opponent. Mulvey and Lauren Carson also earned straight-set wins out of the No. 3 and No. 5 slots, respectively.
The Friars are back in action next Saturday (Feb. 19) for a home match against Fairfield University at 11:30 a.m.
