Providence College Announces Athletic Staff Promotions

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College Athletic Director Bob Driscoll announced today (Sept. 8) the promotions of Andrew Schoepfer to Associate Athletics Director for Ticket Operations and Data Analytics, Jennifer Cunningham to Associate Athletics Director of Student-Athlete Development and Internal Operations, and Audrey Gunther to Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing and Promotions.
 
"Andrew, Jen and Audrey have proven to be hard-working and dedicated members of our staff," Providence College Athletics Director Bob Driscoll said. "All three have the interests of our student-athletes at the forefront of everything they do. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the work they have done and I feel these are very deserving promotions."
 
Schoepfer is currently in his 10th year working for Providence College Athletics. He arrived at Providence in August of 2011, serving as Assistant Ticket Manager, before being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director in July of 2015. Additionally, Schoepfer currently serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO) and is co-lead of the BIG EAST ticketing working group.  Prior to his arrival at Providence, Schoepfer held positions at the University of California, Berkeley, UCONN, and Rhode Island College. He received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Holy Cross, where he was a four-year starter as a football student-athlete, and served as SAAC co-chair for two years. 
 
Cunningham has worked at Providence College for 14 years. She arrived at Providence in July of 2007 and served as Senior Office Assistant in the Athletic Fundraising department before being promoted to Coordinator of Athletic Development in 2008.  In 2012, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Development, a position she held until 2015 when she was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations.  Prior to her appointment at Providence, Cunningham served as a Marketing and Ticketing Assistant at Marquette University. She received a bachelor of science degree in sport administration/business from Ohio University in 2006. In 2010, Cunningham earned master's of business administration from Providence College.  A native of Raynham, Mass., her and her husband, Jason, have two sons, Cameron and Caden. 
 
Gunther has worked in the Providence College Athletic Marketing office since August of 2018. She served as the Coordinator of Marketing and Promotions with a focus on Men's and Women's Hockey marketing efforts. Prior to her arrival at Providence, Gunther was the Marketing Assistant at the University at Albany in 2017. She received a bachelor's of science degree in Sports Management from West Virginia University in 2016. She also earned a master's in Sports Management the following year at WVU.
