PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey equipment manager
Andrew Zagorianakos was named as the U.S. Under-17 Select Team's equipment manager for the upcoming 2021 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament. The tournament will take place in Visp, Switzerland from August 17-21. The U.S. will compete alongside the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Zagorianakos will enter his seventh season at Providence College in 2021-22. Prior to Providence, he served as an Assistant Equipment Manager at Boston College. In three seasons at BC, he oversaw the equipment needs for the women's ice hockey team, as well as field hockey, women's lacrosse, men's & women's cross country & track, men's & women's swimming, men's & women's fencing, and sailing.
Zagorianakos also has served as equipment manager for the U.S. Women's National and U18 hockey teams.
A former Hockey East graduate intern, Zagorianakos is a graduate of the University of Maine in 2011, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology. The Lincoln, Maine native currently resides in Rumford, R.I.
