Providence College Athletics Holds Annual Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On Tuesday June 8, the Providence College Athletic Department held its annual Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic at Warwick Country Club in Warwick, R.I. The sold out event raised more than $115,000 that will enhance the experience of every student-athlete at Providence College.
Providence College Athletics would like to thank Hannoush Jewelers, the title sponsor for this event, as well as presenting sponsors: Coast to Coast Promotional Products, Finetco, Lax & Co., Providence Friars Sports Properties, Rossi Electric and, UG2.
Player gifts were sponsored by Nike and Prime Time Sports. Guests were treated to steaks and oysters on the course, courtesy of The Capital Grille and a Hole in One Challenge sponsored by Audi. On-course beverages were provided by Coca Cola and Haxton Liquors. All signage was donated generously by Graphic Innovations.
The dinner program was sponsored by Joseph Tavone Painting and featured speaking from Head Men's Basketball Coach Ed Cooley, Athletics Director Bob Driscoll, and Providence College President Rev. Kenneth Sicard '78, '82G, O.P.
"It was great to see our Friar family come out and support this flagship event. The sold out field was a testament to the excitement for the upcoming year and the funds from today's outing will benefit every student-athlete in Friartown. I want to thank our title sponsor, Hannoush Jewelers, our presenting sponsors, and all of the golfers whose generous support made the day a success." said Asst. VP and Senior Associate Athletic Director Steve Napolillo '98.
