WORCESTER, Mass. – The Providence College women's tennis team put forth a strong effort against Holy Cross on Monday, downing the Crusaders by a score of 7-0 in the final regular season match of 2021.
The Friars swept all matches on the day, including all singles matches in straight sets.
Haley Gurski notched a clean sweep of her opponent, scoring 6-0 wins in both sets.
"We have worked hard all season and it feels good to finish the regular season with a win," said Head Coach
Jakob Klaeson. "Now we will turn our attention to a talented Creighton team in the BIG EAST Championships and are excited for the opportunity."
Providence is set to compete on Thursday (April 22) at the BIG EAST Championships held in Cayce, S.C. The Friars will battle Creighton beginning at 9 a.m.
