BIG EAST Releases Television And Digital Network Schedule For Spring 2021

Softball, men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse pick up nationally-televised games; Men’s and women’s soccer also will make appearances on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference released its television and streaming schedule for the 2021 spring season, comprised of both fall and spring sports. Providence College softball, men's soccer and men's lacrosse have picked up nationally-televised games, while men's and women's soccer will be featured on the league's digital network (BEDN).
Softball will face DePaul on March 21 in Chicago, Ill. at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on FS1. Men's soccer also has been picked up by FS1 on March 27 against Georgetown at noon in Washington, D.C. Friars lacrosse also will be featured on national television on April 24. CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will broadcast their match-up against Georgetown at 2:30 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
The BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) will feature the men's and women's soccer programs, twice each. The league will produce women's soccer vs. Seton Hall (March 28) and St. John's (April 8). Both of those matches are scheduled to be played at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. Men's soccer will be broadcast live by BEDN on April 3 as it faces St. John's in Queens, N.Y. and again on April 10 vs. Seton Hall at Anderson Stadium.
The Providence College Athletics Department also will host two BIG EAST Championship events on campus this spring, which will be broadcast by the league's streaming and television partners. On April 15-18, the college will host the BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championship. The semifinal rounds will be broadcast on BEDN, with the Championship Game featured on FS1. The BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championship is slated for May 6-8 at Anderson Stadium. The Semifinals and Championship Game will be nationally-televised on CBSSN.
