Providence College Well-Represented On 2019-20 BIG EAST All-Academic Team

A total of 223 student-athletes earned BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors for the Friars.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference released its 2019-20 BIG EAST All-Academic Team today [Aug. 3], and the list included 223 student-athletes from Providence College.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in a BIG EAST-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters of academic work, with a total of 18 semester or 27 quarter credits, not including remedial courses.
Nearly 3,000 student-athletes earned BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors in 2019-20, including just over 200 individuals who represent the league as affiliate members.
