Providence College Athletics Holds Annual Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic

The department’s signature event raised $139,000.00 that will directly enhance the experience of every student-athlete at Providence College.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College Athletics held its annual Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic at Warwick Country Club in Warwick, R.I. on Tuesday, June 4. The department's signature event raised $139,000.00 that will directly enhance the experience of every student-athlete at Providence College.
Providence College Athletics would like to thank Hannoush Jewelers, the title sponsor for this event, as well as presenting sponsors, UG2, Coast to Coast Promotional Products, Providence Friars Sports Properties and Lax & Co.
Guests were treated to steaks and oysters on the course, courtesy of The Capital Grille. On-course beverages were provided by Coca Cola and Haxton Liquors. All signage was donated generously by Graphic Innovations.
Player gifts were sponsored by Lynne Berard '93 and Samsonite, as well as Nike. Participants at the event had the opportunity to interact with coaches and student-athletes at various holes on the course. Following golf, a dinner and live auction was held where Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach Nate Leaman and Head Softball Coach Jill Karwoski spoke to the guests as well as Athletics Director Bob Driscoll.
The 2019 Hannoush Jewelers Donor of the Year was presented to Coca Cola.
The winning foursome group will join the men's basketball team on a charter flight this upcoming season.
