Printz Scores Twice, No. 11 Men's Hockey Skates to 3-3 Tie at BU

BOSTON, Mass. Greg Printz scored twice, registering his NCAA-leading ninth goal of the season but Boston University rallied in the third period to force a 3-3 tie at Agganis Arena on Friday night (Nov. 8).

NOTES
- BU held a 14-9 advantage in shots through a scoreless first period.
- Trevor Zegras gave the Terriers a 1-0 lead 2:57 into the second period.
- Providence responded 1:08 later as Greg Printz got a piece of an Albin Nilsson shot and then gave the Friars a lead 4:51 after that for his ninth goal of the season.
- Patrick Moynihan struck for the third time this season on the power play to give Providence a two-goal cushion at 3-1.
- David Farrance cashed in twice on the power play in the third period, his second coming with just 2:17 remaining to force overtime.
- The Friars managed to kill off Tyce Thompson's major penalty with 2:15 left in overtime.
- Printz's two goals now puts him in the NCAA lead in goal scoring with nine.
- Dugan still holds the NCAA scoring lead with 20 points (5-15-20) in nine games and has posted multi-point efforts in eight of nine games, including his five-game point streak (2-11-13)
- Tyce Thompson's six-game point streak was snapped on Friday.
- Defenseman Michael Callahan has a goal and six assists during his five-game point streak.
- Freshman defenseman Luke Johnson recorded his first collegiate assist on Printz's first goal of the game.

2-1 (PC) – 8:56/2nd – EV – Greg Printz (Dugan) – Dugan intercepted a pass in the neutral zone and sent Printz in who wired a shot to the top right corner past Tucker.
